Our Screening Process
Ensuring Every Helper Is Skilled, Safe & Ready
At Caring Caregivers Singapore, every helper undergoes a multi-layered screening process before being accepted into our training centre. Our goal is simple — to ensure that every helper we deploy is qualified, responsible, and genuinely prepared to care for your loved ones.
Step 1
Background & Identity Verification
Before training begins, we verify every helper’s personal documents and employment history.
This includes checking:
- National identification and passport validity
- Marital and family background
- Past overseas employment records (if any)
We only work with verified candidates who meet embassy and MOM regulations.
Step 2
Physical Condition
Health is essential as a helper. All helpers must undergo a full medical check-up by certified doctors in Indonesia and another one in Singapore, covering:
- Height and Weight (We have a minimum and maximum for height and weight)
- Medical History and Operation History
- Consumption of Alcohol and/or Smoking
- Tattoos (We will check and verify if it is acceptable)
- Ability to lift objects (above 19kg)
- Ability to climb up and down stairs
- Use of Vapes
Only helpers who are medically certified and deemed FIT proceed to the next stage.
Step 3
Interview on Hard Skills
Our recruiters conduct in-depth interviews to understand:
- What can she cook?
- Has she done housekeeping?
- Has she taken care of children or elderly before?
- What is her previous work experience
- Can she cook or handle pork?
- Can she speak English?
We ask these questions to better help them learn more effectively
Step 4
Soft Skills
At Caring Caregivers Singapore, we believe a helper’s success depends as much on her character and attitude as on her technical skills.
That’s why our evaluation of soft skills begins from the first interview and continues throughout her Bootcamp Training period.
Our trainers and recruiters observe each candidate closely to understand how she learns, adapts, and interacts with others in real situations — not just how she answers questions.
- Attitude toward feedback and discipline
- Ability to follow Instructions
- Verbal and Non Verbal Communication
- Etiquette
- Motivation and Purpose
- Emotional Maturity and Ego
Why This Matters?
Our comprehensive screening ensures that the helper entering your home is:
Verified and compliant with all MOM and embassy requirements
Medically fit and emotionally stable
Motivated and disciplined
Trained and trusted to care with professionalism and heart
